Elvis and I met at Memphis Int’l. Airport. He was on his way to Vegas and me to a concert in Orlando. He said, “Orlando? Wrong way, man!” He turned and said to his guys, “He’s always goin’ the wrong way.” We laughed. Then I said, “Well, it depends on where you’re comin’ from.”

That was our last meeting…he died a month later. I’m still so sad we couldn’t have talked more.
